Abstract: Systematic study on the process mineralogy is conducted in order to investigate the mineral composition， dissemination features and grain size distribution of a lead-zinc ore. The results show that the lead grade is 1.21 ％， zinc grade is 1.09 ％ in the ore. Lead minerals are mainly galena， zinc minerals are mainly blende， and lead and zinc minerals are oxidized to some extent； galena， blende and pyrite are disseminated in coarse grains and distributed unevenly； galena， blende and pyrite are in good monomer dissociation. The result of process mineralogy study can provide basis to choose dressing processes for the ore.
